For our second campaign with McLaren Automotive and Proud Robinson & Partners, we worked on the launch of the 2023 McLaren Artura.

McLaren is embracing a hybridized future of high performance with the Artura supercar.  The newly introduced mid-engine two-seater rides on a new lightweight platform.  It also pairs a twin-turbo V-6, the company’s first, with a battery-electric powertrain to create a plug-in hybrid model, another first.  The duo generates 671 horsepower and 531 pound-feet of torque.  Performance estimates are highlights by a zero-to-60 mph time of 2.6 seconds and a top speed of 205 mph. Its bodywork is pure McLaren, complete with prominent air vents and scissor-style doors.

Our brief was to find an innovative way to visualize ‘The Full Force of McLaren’ that would give McLaren a suite of assets to use online, social, and for dealers around the world.  Using a combination of in-camera effects and post production techniques, Marvin Leuvrey and the team at Purple Martin find a distinctive style that befits McLaren’s latest supercar.
